The Lavish Generosity of God

Notice both the gift given and the measure given.

 

 

 

In Him we have REDEMPTION through His blood, the FORGIVENESS of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us.  Ephesians 1:7-8a

 

And hope does not disappoint, because the LOVE OF GOD has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.  Romans 5:5

 

So that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in KINDNESS toward us in Christ Jesus.  Ephesians 2:7

 

But if any of you lacks WISDOM, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.  James 1:5

 

 “And it shall be in the last days,” God says, “That I will pour forth of my Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and your daughters shall PROPHESY, and your young men shall see VISIONS, and your old men shall DREAM DREAMS; even on my bond slaves, both men and women, I will in those days pour forth of My Spirit and they shall PROPHESY.”  Acts 2:17-18

 

For just as the SUFFERING of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our COMFORT is abundant through Christ.  2 Corinthians 1:5

 

That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be STRENGTHENED WITH POWER through His Spirit in the inner man.  Ephesians 3:16

 

And my God will supply ALL YOUR NEEDS according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:19

 

But just as it is written, “things which EYE HAS NOT SEEN and EAR HAS NOT HEARD, and which have NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9
